Support and
maintenance
The installation comes with an IP65 rated
touchscreen, usually wall mounted. This type of screen will withstand
water and other liquids being splashed on it, so is suitable for
use in bars and so on. For background music playback no keyboard
or mouse is required, all operations are possible through the touchscreen.
A keyboard and mouse may still be used if required.
Our systems are connected to the internet
with a broadband or dialup link. This is used for maintenance, updating
of music content and so on. The link is only activated from ComputerDJ
Ltd as necessary and will only be used by our technicians. We can
take full remote control of the system if required. We find this
very useful for user training as we can speak to the user on the
phone whilst operating the system remotely.
